Go west on Cobbs-Ford Road about 4 miles. (It will turn into Main St.) Turn Right on Washington St. Go straight at the two stop signs. Washington dead ends and curves left into 5th St. Smith-Byrd House is on the corner of 5th and Washington. Driveway and Parking are on 5th Street side at the rear of the house. Driving Directions: From Birmingham Directions: Take I-65 South. Take Exit 186 (Pine Level and Prattville Exit) off I-65. Turn Right on US Highway 31 South. Drive about 6 to 7 miles. Turn Right onto Wetumpka St. (2nd traffic light. Chevron Station on the corner.) Turn Right onto Washington St. (Wetumpka dead ends into Washington St.) Smith-Byrd House is on the corner of 5th and Washington. Turn Left at the next street. (This really is 5th Street.) Driveway and Parking are on the 5th Street side at the rear of the house. |
