Buena Vista
This beautiful circa 1830 structure was the first Autauga County entry to the National Register of Historic Places. Legend has it that Andrew Jackson patterned the staircase at his home, The Hermitage, after visiting. Buena Vista is operated and maintained by the Autauga County Heritage Association. It is available for weddings and parties and is open for tours on Tuesdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., or by appointment. |
